Temple University in Philadelphia announced on Thursday, 9/3, that it will be moving most classes online until the end of the fall semester due to a coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. In-person classes were paused earlier this week due to an increase in cases, but that two-week suspension has now been extended. As of 9/3, there are 237 active cases on campus. Authorities are searching for a Delaware County man for attempting to abduct his son and stabbing another man at a South Jersey water park last month. 30-year-old Rashawn Parker Jr. of Chester is charged with attempted kidnapping, aggravated assault, violating a restraining order, child endangerment, and weapons offenses. Philadelphia Police are looking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in the shooting death of a man in late July. The incident was caught on surveillance cameras in broad daylight. Temple University announced on Sunday, 8/30, that it will 'pause' in-person classes for two weeks after identifying 103 active coronavirus COVID-19 cases on campus. The school says that most of those cases are asymptomatic and a few have mild to moderate flu-like symptoms. They say that new cases seem to be attributed to small social gatherings off campus. A mural of the late Philadelphia Sgt. Robert Wilson III in Cobbs Creek was defaced with anti-police graffiti. The mural is located on the 6000 block of Baltimore Avenue. Vandals spray painted the mural with the acronyms "ACAB" and "FTP" as well as a "circle-A" anarchy symbol. Sgt.
