A water main break in Cherry Hill, NJ, on Thursday evening, 2/21, closed two lanes of Route 70 eastbound between Cornell and Sayer Avenue. The incident attracted news helicopters to the area, and some Phillies fans found the opportunity to send a 'big' message to team executives. A 4-year-old North Philadelphia boy's death has been ruled accidental after he fell onto a piece of broken glass in his home on Wednesday afternoon, 2/20. It happened on the 3200 block of North Reese Street. Adrian Ortega suffered a laceration to the stomach from a piece of broken glass that came out of a picture frame. A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect for all of the Philadelphia area from Wednesday morning through late Wednesday night for heavy mixed winter precipitation. Snow won't start until after the morning rush. It will be heavy at times through lunchtime and the afternoon. Mixing of sleet and freezing rain will start in the late afternoon and evening. Trash trucks and other heavy equipment arrived at a New Jersey apartment complex on Tuesday morning, 2/19, for the first time in weeks. Over 30 dumpsters at the Crestbury Apartments in Camden, New Jersey, were well past overflowing with trash and garbage bags. The refuse was starting to attract animals and of course the smell. Penn State THON 2019 Raises Over $10 Million; SUV Hits Police Cruiser in NJ; East Oak Lane Car Crash

Penn State University held their 42nd annual THON dance marathon that raises money to help children and families affected by pediatric cancer. The students danced for 46 hours in the Bryce Jordan Center located on Penn State's main campus in Happy Valley. This year the students raised $10,621,683.76 for the cause. Since the first THON in 1977, the annual fundraiser has now raised close to $170 million for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
