| A helicopter crashed into marshlands next to the Ocean City Municipal Airport in New Jersey on Friday morning, 8/10. It happened around 9:30 a.m. to the west of the tarmac near 28th Street. A student pilot and instructor were inside the Robinson R22 helicopter at the time. They were taken to Shore Memorial hospital for non life-threatening injuries. | There is now a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of two suspects accused of opening fire on two undercover Camden County detectives. The New Jersey State Fraternal Order of Police is offering $25,000, the Camden Fraternal Order of Police is offering $5,000, and the New Jersey State Police Benevolent Association is offering $20,000. | A suspect is dead after exchanging gunfire with police in South Philadelphia this morning, 8/9. It started just after 11 a.m. on the 1900 block of Woodstock Street. Two officers confronted a 48-year-old man on a bicycle who they thought was carrying a weapon. As they approached, the man ditched the bike and ran.
