The 31st annual AIDS Walk/Run Philly 5K was held on Sunday morning, those participating raised over $275,000. The walk began Sunday morning in Eakins Oval, then went down Martin Luther King Drive, ending back in Eakins Oval. Over 10,000 people participated in the event. The $275,000 raised in the event will be used to support nearly 30,000 people who are living with HIV in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Philadelphia Police have arrested a man they say tried to run down a sheriff's deputy in South Philadelphia on Saturday night. 32-year-old Deven Harley is charged with with aggravated assault and related offenses. It happened around 11:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of South 7th Street. Two deputies were working as part of task force looking for a missing runaway. The body found in the Schuylkill River near the Walnut Street bridge on Thursday has been identified. The medical examiner says the victim is local entrepreneur 58-year-old Philip Reitnour. Most schools in the Monroe Township School District in New Jersey will reopen on Tuesday according to the school district superintendent. All six district schools were closed this week to test for mold after Holly Glen Elementary School was closed last week to undergo extensive mold testing and cleaning. The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will close a long stretch of the Northeast Extension this weekend so crews can replace a bridge. The highway will be closed for a total of 55 hours between the Lehigh Valley Interchange, Exit #56, and the Mahoning Valley Interchange, Exit #74. Officials in Delaware County are now investigating a deadly train accident that took place in Norwood. The incident took place at around 4:30 pm on Thursday on the unit block of West Winona Street. Officials have stated that a pedestrian was struck and killed by an oncoming Amtrak train. SEPTA had to suspend service on the Wilmington Line while police investigated the scene. Philadelphia Police are investigating a deadly shooting after a man was shot while sitting in his car in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Officers responded to the call at around 5 pm to find a man in his late 20s in a car with multiple gun shot wounds.
