Philadelphia actor and comedian Kevin Hart has called out fellow celebrities friends to participate in a Hurricane Harvey Relief Challenge. The entertainer posted a video on Instagram and pledged to give $25,000 to relief efforts. The storm continues to dump massive amounts of rain on southeastern parts of Texas and will slowly move towards Louisiana over the next few days. Hurricane Harvey continues to cause devastation in the greater Houston area and Southeast Texas. Philadelphia Police have now taken a suspect into custody for a DUI after he reportedly crashed into around 27 cars in two different neighborhoods in Philadelphia on Sunday morning. The incident began on the 1400 block of Devereau Avenue at around 3 a.m., where he crashed into around 10 cars damaging them. The bust of a Union General that went missing from a Fairmount Park Civil War monument on Thursday night was found on Friday morning under I-95. The bust was of Gen. James A. Beaver, a general in the Union army and the 20th Governor of Pennsylvania. It was apart of the Smith Memorial Arch located across from the Please Touch Museum. The bust was installed in 1912. A man was arrested this morning after he was caught riding his bike in the middle of rush hour traffic on the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76). It happened around 8:30 a.m. Friday morning on the westbound lanes of I-76 near Center City Philadelphia. He was riding between the left and middle lanes just west of the Vine St. Expressway (I-676). Police are now investigating after a fatal motorcycle accident took place in Folsom, Delaware County. The accident took place at around 7 pm on Thursday on McDade Boulevard and Monta Vista Avenue. Police say that the motorcyclist collided with a car, sending the motorcyclist underneath the vehicle. A Habitat for Humanity worksite in Gloucester County, New Jersey, has been targeted by thieves three separate times. They have stolen a total of $5,000 worth of tools from a storage unit on site. The Philadelphia Parking Authority has now announced that the meterUp pay-for-parking mobile app is now returning to Philadelphia. The PPA announced on Wednesday that they have approved a new vendor for the app, ParkMobile LLC. The PPA says that ParkMobile has multiple years of experience with parking apps, having been vendors to cities including New York, Denver, Dallas, DC and Miami. According the the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, David 'DJ' Creato Jr has pleaded guilty in the death of his toddler son Brendan. Creato pled guilty to one count of first degree aggravated manslaughter in court today. His original murder trial ended in a hung jury in May. The retrial was scheduled to start on September 11th.
