| A missing Penn State professor has been found dead. His body was discovered at the bottom of a quarry and he had apparently been pushed. 56-year-old Ronald Bettig, an associate professor of media studies, had not been seen since August 12th. Penn State police launched an investigation and transferred it to State Police this week. Firefighters had to rescue passengers aboard two NJ Transit buses that collided in Newark, New Jersey this morning. One person has died, seven others have been injured. One of the busses t-boned the other, killing one of the bus drivers as one bus ended up on its side.

| Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has nominated former First Deputy Attorney General Bruce Beemer for temporary Attorney General. He would replace former Solicitor General Bruce Castor who was sworn into office as acting Attorney General. Beemer testified against the convicted Kathleen Kane who resigned yesterday.
