Philadelphia Phillies ace RHP Cole Hamels threw a no-hitter Saturday afternoon against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The Phillies won 5-0. Cole threw 129 pitches with 13 K's and 2 BB's. This was the 13th no-hitter in Phillies' history and Hamels' first solo effort. Philadelphia police have arrested a man for the sexual assault and murder of a recent Drexel grad in her West Philadelphia apartment last week. 56-year old James Harris faces murder, rape, robbery, burglary and other charges. The man was caught on surveillance video trying to use a clear plastic bag as a disguise but failed miserably to conceal his identity. A 61 year old Main Line woman has been arrested for dealing heroin. After four months of undercover work, police busted Lynne Twaddle of Pugh Road in the Wayne section of Tredyffrin Township. Undercover cops bought heroin from Twaddle from her home and in the raid recovered 250 baggies of heroin. Twaddle's home is across the street from New Eagle Elementary School.

Police are gathering evidence after two people used a bomb to blow up an ATM in Hunting Park. Surveillance video shows two people approach the machine at 6th and Luzerne streets and then running away. Seconds later the machine exploded sending pieces of it flying 100 feet away.
