PHL Airport Truck Fire, Vick Book Siginings Cancelled, Galloway Twp. Apartment Gas Leak

A fuel truck caught fire at Philadelphia International Airport last night around 8 p.m. on the tarmac at Terminal F. Fire crews used foam to bring the flames under control. There were a few flight delays as a result, but there was no damage and no one was injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Canal Drowning Ruled Accidental, $900M Expansion of 295, Jerry Sandusky Files Another Appeal

The cause of death for the woman found in the D&R Canal several weeks ago has been ruled accidental. The Medical Examiner for the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office has released a statement saying that 39 year old Sarah Majoras, who went missing in January while walking home to Lambertville, NJ, had a high level of alcohol in her bloodstream and her death was accidental.

As Cardinals gather in Vatican City, the excitement is building in anticipation of the Conclave that begins tomorrow for the election of a new Pope. Tomorrow the Cardinals will begin the day with Mass and then in the afternoon, there will be one round of voting. It may take a couple days before we see the white smoke and a new Pope is named.

Philadelphia City Council committee last week approved a measure proposed by Council president Darrell Clarke that calls on the mayor to create regulations that would ban outright any firearms in the parks or at recreation centers, even if the guns are legal. Mike Resnick, the city's public safety director, says that with 54 shootings at rec centers since 2010, the administration supports the ban.

A portion of Two Liberty Place is going to be sold and converted into a hotel. According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, IStar Financial has decided to sell their portion of the skyscraper for development of a high end hotel with 150 rooms. Two Liberty Place currently uses space for offices and condominiums.

You've heard about the couple involved in stealing a Camden police car before stealing a Philadelphia police car on Tuesday. Now, the woman arrested is suspected of stealing another car the night before. A delivery man for Del Rossi's Cheesesteak Co., believes Shayna Sykes stole his Nissan Altima Monday afternoon in Northern Liberties as he was was dropping off some french fries. Officials say they later recovered the car on State Street in North Camden.

Hundreds of friends, family, and students marched on Philadelphia school district headquarters late this afternoon. The protestors blocked the streets outside while several were arrested inside attempting to block the doors of the auditorium. The School Reform Commission was planning on holding a meeting to vote on a final decision regarding the closure of 27 schools. Police are searching for someone who drove a front end loader through the front of the Piston Diner (pictured )in Westville, New Jersey last night. It was captured on surveillance camera around midnight. The loader, possibly from a construction site down the road, made a loop on Route 130 then plowed into the front of the diner and lifted the bucket.
