Nicole Jacques, 25, of Hatfield, Montgomery Country, is charged with multiple counts of sexual assault and corruption of a minor. She was a private school teacher at Calvary Baptist School in Lansdale, PA, until she quit in 2011. She is charged with engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old student from that school where she taught.

Quincy Kramer, 21, has been arrested and charged with slashing the tires of nine cars last week in Northeast Philadelphia. He is the suspect in an incident that happened last Thursday night in the 3300 block of Cottman Ave. where cars were vandalized.
The vandal was caught on video surveillance camera in the act of slashing two of those tires, which was released by Philadelphia Police with a description looking for short-haired white male in his late teens or early 20s. Tipsters... Read More |

Philadelphians will rally once again Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Love Park with a candlelight vigil. This is the one month anniversary of the death of teenager Trayvon Martin. Organizers are asking that demonstrators show up wearing hoodies as a show of support of the unarmed teenager who was killed by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer. Philadelphia Police have a break in the case of tire slashing vandalism that has run rampant in the North East without any clues for months. They now have surveillance footage from 9:30pm on Thursday night showing a young man slashing the tires of two cars at Cottman and Rowland avenues. There were a total of 9 vehicles vandalized that night.

Several thousand people marched in Philly from 30th Street Station to Love Park tonight as part of a Philadelphia segment of the "Million Hoodie March." The march's intent was to show support for Trayvon Martin, an African American teenager who was shot-to-death last month while walking home by a neighborhood watch volunteer in his Florida town, and also to bring awareness of the perceived injustice in the case. The LA coroner's report has been issued today, ending weeks of speculation into how 48-year-old singer, Whitney Houston, died before she was found submerged in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills Hotel suite on February 11, the day before the Grammy's.

Officers with SEPTA's transit police have gone on strike today as of 2pm. SEPTA and the union for the around 220 transit police officers have not been able to reach a settlement regarding the last few points of their contract. The two were in negotiations today when the union decided to strike at the last minute.

Ravi was charged with secretly viewing his roommate in a sexual encounter with another man through a webcam. Bucks County District Attorney, David Heckler, identified 18-year-old Tatyana Henderson as the second of five suspects in the Dec. 28 shooting death of guitarist Danny DeGennaro.
