The Pennsylvania Department of State and PennDOT have both declared that they have met the standards of the Voter ID law providing “liberal access” to obtaining one. They claim to have streamlined the process of procuring proper identification. You need to go to a PennDOT center and give your name, date of birth, Social Security number and address. A former Radnor Boy Scout leader has been arrested on child pornography charges and Radnor Police want to know if there are any possible victims out there. Forty seven year old Garrett Conover, now living in Swedesboro New Jersey was an active scout master of Radnor Troop 284 from 1991 to 2001. The Conover case is related to a larger one involving 150 child victims and 45 arrests so far.

| Last week, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered the lower court to reconsider its decision not to block the voter ID law. The Commonwealth Court is set to hold an evidentiary hearing Tuesday morning in Harrisburg. | Doylestown Borough Council passed an amendment to the borough's anti-discrimination law protecting their right to breastfeed in public. Under the new measure, women can file a complaint when they are asked to leave any place or asked to go to a restroom to breastfeed. | Police have arrested a cleaning woman who was accused of stealing a rare bust of Benjamin Franklin back in August. Andrea Lawton, 46, of Philadelphia was briefly employed in the Bryn Mawr home of a private historic artifact collector. The portrait bust dates to 1778 and was made when Franklin was visiting Paris. A Philadelphia man is being investigated for suspected involvement with war crimes in Germany. The Associated Press reported that 87 year old Johann Breyer was a guard at Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II. | Police say a gun belonging to a flight attendant was accidentally fired inside Philadelphia International Airport on Sunday morning. A female flight attendant trying to pass through security was detained when a handgun was discovered in her handbag. The woman and her gun were detained and the TSA called police. | The 15-year-old being held in the shooting of two other teenagers midday on Wednesday on a crowded Broad Street Subway platform and train is being charged as an adult with attempted murder. Last night, the skies over the Benjamin Franklin Parkway were crisscrossed by 24 beams of light responding to hundreds of recorded voice messages. "Open Air" is an interactive light exhibit that will take place nightly through mid-October. The light show can be seen for 10 miles around the city.
