The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office has charged a Philadelphia police officer with assault and a DUI after an accident that occurred last year in Southwest Philadelphia. Officials say that 36-year-old Kevin Kline was off duty last Christmas Eve driving on Passyunk Avenue, when he hit a car and proceeded to flee the scene. The parents of one of the four men killed and buried on a Bucks County farm this summer have filed a wrongful death lawsuit. The suit was filed in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas against the two cousins, Cosmo DiNardo and Sean Kratz, who are charged with the murders as well as DiNardo's parents, Sandra and Anthony DiNardo. A teen was taken to the hospital on Tuesday night after a gunman opened fire on a Chinese restaurant in Southwest Philadelphia. The House of Representatives approved the GOP Tax Bill (Tax Cuts and Jobs Act) on Tuesday by a 227-203 vote and sent it off to the Senate. Before they could call for a vote in the Senate, Democrats found three provisions in the bill that violated Senate budget rules.
