A Delaware County man has been accused of raping multiple young boys. District Attorney Jack Whelan announced the arrest of 43-year-old Michael Cripps of Colwyn. He allegedly has abused 5 boys. Whelan says that Cripps befriends women who have young boys and then uses that relationship to get close to the victims. Authorities believe there may be more victims. SEPTA officials have announced that a train stop along the Main Line will be shut down for the next few weeks due to construction. The Villanova stop on the Norristown High Speed Line will be closed over the next six weeks while the school works on connecting an overpass to a pedestrian walkway bridge. SEPTA officials say for an alternative route passengers can walk to the Stadium Station on Ithan Avenue south of Lancaster. The Villanova stop is set to reopen on December 11th. Read More |

A 16-year-old person-of-interest, now murder suspect, wanted in connection to the shooting deaths of two other teens in South Philadelphia earlier this week turned himself in to police on Friday evening. Brandon Olivieri was identified by police when they announced the arrest warrant on Friday afternoon. Gunfire that rang out early Friday morning in South Philadelphia is connected to the murder of two teen boys earlier this week. Over a dozen shots were fired at a home near 16th and Juniper Streets at around 1:30 a.m. this morning. Police Commissioner Richard Ross says that it is the home of a person-of-interest in the case. A young child was hit by a school bus in Camden on Thursday. The incident took place just before 5 p.m. at Alabama and Fairview Streets. Police stated that the 6-year-old boy got off the school bus he was on and began to walk across the street when he was then hit by a bus going in the opposite direction. The boy was taken to Cooper University Hospital with severe injuries. He is said to be in stable condition.

A 21-year-old man kidnapped from his Lancaster County home this morning has been found unharmed and safe and his abductor is in custody. It happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on Concord Lane in Columbia Borough. 31-year-old Dustin Wetten was armed with a handgun and kicked his way into 21-year-old Jordan Fischer's home. Jefferson Health has now announced they will be eliminating up to 600 jobs and half could be by laying off workers. The layoffs come after Jefferson Health grew into a 13 hospital system with 30,000 employees after merging with local hospitals, most recently including Kennedy Health System and Philadelphia University. Philadelphia Police have named the two 16-year-old boys shot to death in South Philadelphia last night. They have been identified as Caleer Miller and Salvatore DiNubile. DiNubile was junior at St. Joe's Prep and was on the hockey team. Miller was a junior at Mastery Charter School.
