The Philadelphia Phillies confirmed on Friday, 6/19, that 8 members of the organization at the team's facility in Clearwater, Florida, have tested positive for coronavirus COVID-19. That includes 5 players and 3 staff members. 8 staff members have tested negative. There are still 12 staff and 20 players awaiting test results. Those include: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Erie, Lancaster, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia and Susquehanna. Philadelphia City Council preliminarily approved a FY2021 budget during a late night virtual session on Wednesday night, 6/18. City officials now predict there will be a $749 million budget shortfall due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. The $4.9 billion budget will be voted on for final approval during City Council's regular stated meeting on Thursday, June 25.

Authorities are looking for 36-year-old Akhenaton Jones. 27-year-old Dominique Rem'mie Fells was discovered on June 8 in the Schuylkill River near Bartram's Garden.
