A North Philly mother known for throwing extravagant prom send off parties costing tens of thousands of dollars has been charged with Social Security fraud. 44-year-old Saudia Shuler is charged with six counts of wire fraud, one count of theft of government funds, and two counts of social security fraud. The Camden County Prosecutor's Office released a video of a person of interest in connection to the shooting of two police detectives last week in Camden. The incident happened on Tuesday, August 7 around 8:30 p.m. near Mount Vernon Street and Broadway. The plainclothes detectives were sitting in an unmarked car when they were ambushed. A helicopter crashed into marshlands next to the Ocean City Municipal Airport in New Jersey on Friday morning, 8/10. It happened around 9:30 a.m. to the west of the tarmac near 28th Street. A suspect is dead after exchanging gunfire with police in South Philadelphia this morning, 8/9. It started just after 11 a.m. on the 1900 block of Woodstock Street. Two officers confronted a 48-year-old man on a bicycle who they thought was carrying a weapon. As they approached, the man ditched the bike and ran.
