Embattled District Attorney Seth Williams faced a federal judge on Wednesday just days before Williams is set to go on trial. Williams sat with his lawyer as the prosecution and defense hashed out some last minute details with Judge Paul Diamond. The details included the witness lists, questions for jury selection and the judge's opening remarks to the jury. A total of 12 jurors and 4 alternatives will be chosen from a group of candidates. Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that the iconic Rocky Statue is once again accessible to the public and open to visitors. Two weeks ago, on May 30th, the area immediately around the statue off to the right of the bottom of the Art Museum stairs was closed off for site improvements. Gunman Opens Fire on GOP Baseball Practice; Philly Bev Tax Appeal Upheld; Man Killed in CC Car Crash

A gunman opened fire early this morning around 7 a.m. at a baseball field in Alexandria, Virginia, during a congressional baseball practice. The suspect has been identified as 66-year-old James Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois. He shot with a semi-automatic long rifle on the congressional Republican team as they were hitting in the batting cages. Republican majority whip Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana was shot in the hip. Man Arrested In Wawa Assault; Suspect ID'd In Infant Death; Cosby Trial Continues

Montgomery County Police have placed a man in custody after he assaulted a woman in a Wawa parking lot. The incident took place at the Wawa on the 1600 block of Valley Forge Road back on April 12th in Lansdale. Lansdale resident Mazen Salfit reportedly grabbed a woman by the arm and pulled her close to his vehicle, he then kissed her with out consent. Bill Cosby Trial Jury Breaks on Day 2 Tuesday After 16 Hours, Will Pick Back up Wednesday 9am

The jury in the sexual assault trial of Bill Cosby broke for the night on Tuesday around 9 p.m. after Day 2 of deliberations. The panel has been weighing the case for a total of 16 hours since Monday. Today they asked to review several pieces of evidence and read back testimony from the trial including portions of Cosby's 2005 civil deposition and the testimony of the police officer who took Andrea Constand's initial report over a decade ago.

April Kauffman's Husband James Arrested; Heat Overcomes CB South Grads; Stepfather ID in 1yo Death

The husband of murdered New Jersey radio host April Kauffman was arrested Tuesday morning as authorities attempted to execute search warrants on his Egg Harbor Township business and home. FBI agents and local police arrived on the 4000 block of Ocean Heights Avenue to serve a warrant at Dr. James Kauffman's office. They were met by Kauffman brandishing a 9mm Ruger handgun. Philadelphia officials are now trying to offer an alternative method to giving panhandlers money, in an effort to try and stop the practice in the city. The new project would allow pedestrians to text in donations to homeless services in Philadelphia. Pedestrians will be able to text the word "Share" to 80077 and donate $5 automatically.
