A teenage boy detonated an explosive device last night in a take-out restaurant in the Francisville section. Video of the explosion shows the black male enter the Oriental Kitchen at 919 North 18th, place the device in an access panel on the wall and run out. Philadelphia Police are seeking your help in identifying the suspect. The video on YouTube is HERE

Little League World Series, Las Vegas proved to be a little too tough for Taney, winning 8-1 Wednesday night. The loss drops Taney into the Little League World Series loser's bracket, where they'll be playing for their season against Chicago Thursday night at 7:30 p.m., while Nevada advances to the U.S. Championship game on Saturday. Taney Dragons' star Mo'ne Davis gave up three runs over the first two innings, giving up six hits and striking out six.

Six people were hospitalized in a crash involving an ambulance carrying a patient this morning in East Mount Airy. It happened just after 8:30 a.m. at Chew Avenue and Washington Lane. The ambulance was approaching the intersection with its lights and siren on when a SUV pulled around a red Chevrolet and into the path of the ambulance. Mo'Ne Davis, the 13 year old girl pitcher from Philadelphia playing in the Little League World Series is on the cover of Sports Illustrated. This is the first time a Little Leaguer has been on the magazine's cover. Mo'Ne and the Taney Dragons battle an offensive powerhouse tonight from Las Vegas in a semi-final matchup in Williamsport. The game is at 7:30 pm on ESPN.

One person is dead and two people were injured following a serious accident Tuesday night at Huntingdon Pike and Spur Road in Lower Moreland. One person suffered serious injuries, and the second person suffered non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation. There is no word on the victim's identity or the cause of the crash.

One person was rescued after their SUV went off the roadway and plunged into Cobbs Creek this afternoon in Southwest Philadelphia. It happened this afternoon around 3:15 pm near Cobbs Creek Parkway and Greenway Avenue. The woman driver veered off the roadway, perhaps suffering a medical emergency, and plunged into the creek below. Philadelphia police charge two teens in the viral video beating of a park ranger in Love Park. Sources have identified the 19-year-old suspect as Curtis Tanner. The second suspect, sources say, is a 17-year-old whose name is being withheld because he is a juvenile. Police arrested Tanner at his home in Pottstown Monday morning. A Philadelphia police officer is recovering from a bullet wound to the head today after a shootout overnight in the Tacony section that left the suspect dead. Police responded to a call on the 6400 block of Ditman Street for a heavy set man with a gun. As soon as police arrived, he opened fire on them. Police returned fire killing him. The wounded officer was treated and released from Albert Einstein Medical Center.
