A man in his 30s shot and killed himself during a barricade situation in a Center City high rise apartment building on Tuesday afternoon. Police responded around 1 p.m. to the Sterling Apartment Homes on the 1800 block of JFK Boulevard to reports of a man with a gun and shots fired. Traffic was blocked in both directions along JFK. A 22-year-old South Jersey social media influencer has been accused of being the ring leader of a $1.5 million fraud scheme. Kayla Massa of Gloucester City has 338k Instagram followers and 107k Youtube subscribers. Federal prosecutors have charged Massa, her 19-year-old sister Leire Massa, and 8 others with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud.
