A teacher was struck and injured during a fight caught on video in Cheltenham High School this morning. The fight began between two students at 7:30 a.m. Two more students then joined the fight. That's when staff members stepped in. The teacher fell and was injured while trying to hold back a student. All four students were girls. Upper Darby Township is now one step closer to opening a medical marijuana dispensary in the township's Fernwood section. Chamounix Ventures Incorporated has now been given the go ahead to set up a medical marijuana dispensary at 622 Industrial Park Drive in Upper Darby. The application to open up the store has been approved, but now the company is still waiting on the license to sell medical marijuana. Pennsylvania is still in the process of accepting the applications.

A large fire that damaged and destroyed a row of town homes in Philadelphia's Point Breeze neighborhood early Monday morning has been ruled an arson. Investigators for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Two people have been arrested so far after a large group of anarchist protesters went on a vandalism rampage in Olde Kensington on Monday night. 45-year-old Geoffrey Suchocki of Doylestown and 28-year-old Patricia Monahan of Philadelphia were charged with causing and risking a catastrophe, criminal mischief, and related offenses. Philadelphia Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in her apartment in North Philadelphia on Monday. The woman was found in an apartment on the 1400 block of Greeby Street at around 3:15 pm. When police arrived on the scene they found the 53-year-old woman inside of the apartment with facial injuries. Philadelphia Police responded after a large suspicious container was found on the highway in North Philadelphia on Sunday. The container was found on the 2000 block of West York Street. Police say when they arrived on the scene, they found the container which smelled of gasoline and had an object on it that looked like a firecracker. A fire overnight in a central Pennsylvania chicken house killed almost 20,000 birds. Lancaster County fire crews responded to the blaze at 331 Walnut Run Road in Strasburg Township at 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The chickens were just brought in to the barn last Monday.
