DA Seth Williams Fined $62,000; New AG Josh Shapiro; Reward Offered For Soldier Beating Info |

Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams has received a fine for ethics violations. The Board of Ethics is fining Williams $62,000. They say Williams took nearly 90 gifts that totaled $160,000, including free vacations, a new roof, and a couch. The Board also stated that William has failed to disclose five different sources of income on his statements of financial interests. The $62,000 fine is the largest issued by the Board in its ten year history.

An argument between a bar manager and a security guard turned deadly in Germantown as the guard shot and killed the manager. It happened around 11 p.m. Monday night at Sharon's Little Spot on the corner of Boyer and East Woodlawn streets. The 44-year-old manager and 28-year-old bouncer got into an argument in the back room. The argument turned physical and the manager may have attacked the guard. Police are now investigating after two men who were impersonating Philadelphia Police officers tried to abduct a woman. The incident took place on the 13000 block of Trevose Road in the Somerton section of Philadelphia on Monday night. The woman stated that the men approached her stating they need to ask her questions but never showed a badge and did not have uniforms on. Police are still investigating into the incident.

Police are now investigating after a woman was robbed at gunpoint in a South Philadelphia parking garage. The robbery happened around 3 am at the Marine Club Condominiums on the 1100 block of South Broad Street. Police say the 24-year-old victim pulled into the garage, and a suspect tapped a long rifle against her window. Today marks the 22nd Annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. It is the largest collective day of service in the country with over 145,000 volunteers participating in events and activities throughout the region. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a teenager was shot and killed in West Philadelphia on Sunday. The victim has been identified as 16-year-old Sean D Jones, an immigrant from Jamaica who came over this past August. The shooting took place on the 200 block of North 52nd Street at around 1 pm. Pennsylvania State Police say traffic is snarled following a multi-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer in the southbound lanes of the Northeast Extension between the Lansdale and Quakertown exits. Police say the accident happened just before 3 p.m. and two to three vehicles are involved. One victim was medevaced to an area hospital. No word on their condition. Only one lane is getting by.

The New Jersey State Medical Examiner has changed the manner of death of the former head of Cooper University Hospital from 'suicide' to 'undetermined.' 72-year-old John Sheridan and his wife, 69-year-old Joyce, were found dead inside their home after a fire in September 2014.
