It will cost more to cross two bridges in the area starting Tuesday. The toll on the Burlington-Bristol and Tacony-Palmyra bridges rises to $4 for cash customers. The toll will be $3 dollars for EZ Pass customers. The toll hikes are the first in 15 years. The Burlington County Bridge Commission says the increases are needed for improvements. The new toll goes into effect Tuesday at 10 p.m.

The World Meeting of Families has announced additional entertainment acts for the weekend of the Papal Visit. Actor Mark Wahlberg will serve as host for the evening Festival of Families. "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin, rock band The Fray, and rising star Marie Miller will join previously announced acts Andrea Bocelli, Juanes, and the Philadelphia Orchestra on Saturday night September 26th. Former 76er Moses Malone passed away yesterday. The Hall of Famer was found dead in a hotel room in Norfolk, Virginia. Moses Malone led the 76ers to the 1983 NBA Championship. With a team that included "Doc" Julius Erving, Malone suggested the Sixers were capable of sweeping the playoffs going "Fo, Fo Fo". He wasn't far off as the 76ers ran through playoff opponents Fo, Five, Fo to win the title. Moses Malone was 60.

Chester police are looking for a driver who struck a motorcycle officer this afternoon and then fled the scene. It happened before 3 p.m. at the intersection of 4th and Morton Streets in Chester. The officer was taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center with minor injuries. He was alert and conscious. Authorities are searching for a late 90's or early 2000's burgundy Pontiac, possibly a Grand Prix, with a green hood and/or trunk. The car fled towards Industrial Highway.

Today is September 11th, marking the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington DC and Shanksville, PA. Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives that day, mostly civilians and first responders. President Barack Obama is scheduled to observe the anniversary with a visit to Fort Meade, Maryland, in recognition of the military's work to protect the country.

Officials in Pennsauken, New Jersey are honoring those slain in the 9-11 attacks by placing 2,997 flags at the township's memorial site. Rows of American flags will take over the memorial grounds near Route 130 and Merchantville Avenue. Each flag represents a person who died in the attacks.
