With the Nor'easter coming, 6-12 inches of snow expected in the area, the School District of Philadelphia will dismiss students 12 p.m. Monday. Philadelphia Archdiocesan schools and Catholic elementary schools in Philadelphia will also close at noon. All Philadelphia School District after-school activities — including all athletic programs and professional development classes — are canceled for Monday as well. Body of Missing Teacher Christopher Tully Found in Schuylkill River |

A body pulled from the Schuylkill River near Falls Bridge in East Falls has been identified as a missing Bucks County teacher and father. 40-year-old Christopher Tully was last seen exiting his parent's car where City Ave meets Lincoln Drive. Tully was an award winning teacher at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology in Warwick and a married father of three. His cause of death is currently unknown.

A snowplow operator suffered only minor injuries when the top deck of a parking garage he was plowing collapsed. It happened just after 7 a.m. Saturday in Secaucus, NJ, leaving a large hole in the top of the garage. The parking garage serves the nearby Empire Hotel and a multistory office building. A one-month-old baby is in stable condition after a quarter of her face was chewed off by ferrets in her home. It happened Thursday on the 300 block of Poplar Street in Darby Borough, Delaware County. The baby's mother left the child in a car seat on the floor and went upstairs. She rushed back downstairs after hearing screaming to find the baby's face had been chewed by the family's pet ferrets. The baby lost her nose, lips, and part of her cheek. There is a Nor'easter gathering moisture and heading up the east coast and it will bring snow to the Philadelphia region starting as early as 9 tonight to the south. We do not have arctic air in place so by Saturday morning we will likely see a changeover to rain before it ends Saturday evening. 3 inches around Philly, North and West of the city will see mostly snow. Up to 6 inches in the Lehigh Valley.

Philadelphia Fire Department officials are investigating three car fires overnight, all happening within a few blocks of each other in the Tacony section of the city. The first was on the 6300 block of Ditman Street just before 2:30 a.m. There were two vehicles on fire at this location. The Fire Marshal is also investigating another car fire on Torresdale Avenue, just about two blocks away. Five members of a Bucks County family and two others have been charged with defrauding insurance companies of over $20 million. The investigation into the Risoldi family began after an October 2013 fire at 67-year-old Claire Risoldi's home in New Hope that she called 'Claremont.' Last night's snow left a coating that didn't inconvenience too many this morning and the roads should dry completely this afternoon. There is good chance a moisture packed Nor’easter will hit the Philadelphia area on Saturday. It's too early to say how much of the moisture will be snow or rain. But at this point the weather guessers say it could produce 3 to 6 inches of snow.

An apartment fire lit up the night sky Wednesday in Edgewater, New Jersey leaving hundreds of residents displaced. Gusty winds and frigid temperatures made it difficult for firefighters to get control of the flames. Smoke from the fire could even be seen across the Hudson River in Midtown Manhattan. A jury in Bucks County found former Philadelphia sportscaster Don Tollefson guilty on all counts today in his theft and fraud case. 62-year-old Tollefson was charged with taking more than $340,000 from 200 people for sports and travel packages that he never delivered and on the other end depriving charities of their fundraising.
