Today, the Bucks County District Attorney said that the officers who tasered a teenage shoplifting suspect in Tullytown will not be charged with police misconduct. The incident happened last month at the local Walmart. The teen and an accomplice were in custody and handcuffed when the boy took off on foot. Protesters blocked access to the Philadelphia immigration office yesterday demanding a halt to deportations. They blocked two driveways at the detention center of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. About 40 protesters hoped to stop vans that transport immigrant detainees to prisons. The 2 hour standoff ended without incident. Protests are part of a national movement of organizers growing impatient with President Obama’s failure to enact immigration reform.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a 71-year-old man was tied up during a home invasion Wednesday night in Southwest Philadelphia. Three men entered through the back door and tied the man up with plastic ties. According to police, a cell phone was taken. No weapons were used and no injuries were reported.

An 11-year-old boy has died after an ATV he was using to pull a sled was struck by a snow plow. The boy was not named, but was a 5th grader at Logan Elementary school in Gloucester County. It happened Tuesday at around 4:30pm. They were using the ATV to pull a sled around the snowy fields. At one point they pulled onto Oak Grove Road. Philadelphia Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of man who was shot over his headphones. 19-year-old Arkel Garcia has been charged with murder, robbery and related offenses. Garcia is alleged to have shot 21-year-old Christian Massey on Nov. 30 in the city's Wynnefield section after demanding but being denied Massey's expensive new pair of Beats by Dre headphones. Police say a 17-year-old male is dead after a shooting Monday night in Wilmington. It happened at the 2600 block of North Van Buren Street. Wilmington Police say officers found the victim in the street and performed CPR. The 17-year-old was rushed to Christiana Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
