A man a young girl were injured in a double shooting in Chester on Friday afternoon, 8/30. It happened just after 3:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Highland Avenue. The 7-year-old was shot in the thigh and a man in his 50's was shot in the groin. They were both taken to the hospital in unknown condition. Police have released a photo of a vehicle wanted in connection with the shooting. Contact police if you have any information.

A massive three-alarm fire tore through a 115-year-old historic church in West Philadelphia on Tuesday afternoon, 8/27, in West Philadelphia. Philadelphia Police are searching for a man wanted for stealing the poor box from a church in the city's Holmesburg neighborhood last Friday, 8/23. Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill, aka Robert Rihmeek Williams, pled guilty on Tuesday, 8/27, to one misdemeanor count of possessing a firearm without a license. All other charges were dropped. This closes his over decade long case stemming from a 2007 arrest on drug and gun charges.
