| A small single engine private plane made an emergency landing on the beach in Ocean City, NJ, on Saturday morning, 6/1. It happened around 8:30 a.m. on the 49th Street beach. Surprised beachgoers caught the landing on video (see below). The Cessna 182 landed on the sand and rolled along the beach before coming to a stop and lurching up on its nose and wing. | The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down on Wednesday afternoon, 5/29, around 3:15 p.m. near the border of Bucks and Lehigh Counties. EF-0 tornados have winds that top out at 85 mph. The NWS will continue to survey damage throughout the area on Thursday. | A small private airplane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off of a Cape May beach on Wednesday morning, 5/29. It happened around 11:30 a.m. near South Cape May Meadows Path between Cape May and Cape May Point. | A former Delaware County teacher has died from his injuries after being shot over the weekend by his neighbor. 44-year-old Joseph Iavarone was shot in the head by 49-year-old John Ballas on the 100 block of Bishop Drive in Chester Heights early Sunday morning, 5/26.
