New Castle County police are investigating after viral video surfaced showing a violent arrest of a 16-year-old on Friday night, 2/15. It happened on East Bellamy Drive in the Carriage Run development. Police were called to the area for reports of drug activity. Penn State University held their 42nd annual THON dance marathon that raises money to help children and families affected by pediatric cancer. The students danced for 46 hours in the Bryce Jordan Center located on Penn State's main campus in Happy Valley. This year the students raised $10,621,683.76 for the cause. Since the first THON in 1977, the annual fundraiser has now raised close to $170 million for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.

Five people including three children and two adults were injured in a crash on Roosevelt Boulevard on Saturday afternoon, 2/16, in the Crescentville section.
