| The Philadelphia District Attorney's office announced the arrest of 9 individuals, many of them family members, of an illegal lottery and gambling ring in the city. They have been tracking the organizer for 20 years. His son, daughter, and nephew were also arrested. He employed dozens of people in 40 gambling spots across the city. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled on Thursday to disbar former District Attorney Seth Williams. Last June, Williams pled guilty to federal corruption charges and then resigned as district attorney. Williams is now facing up to 5 years in prison and is set to be sentenced next Tuesday.

| SEPTA suspended three Regional Rail lines north of Fern Rock Transportation Center following a fatal accident on Thursday afternoon. The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. near the Fern Rock station. Accordning to Police and SEPTA a person was struck and killed by a train. | Philadelphia Police are now searching for a teenager who violently attacked an innocent man. The incident took place back on September 2nd on Broad Street in South Philadelphia. The victim of the attack stated that at around 10:45 pm the suspect threw a pretzel at his parked car, hitting the window.
