A teacher in Orange, New Jersey has been suspended after she had her third-grade class write "get-well" cards to an inmate convicted of killing a Philadelphia police officer. Legendary Philadelphia sports journalist Stan Hochman has died. Hochman has been the face of Philadelphia sports-writing for the last 55 years. He was there for every big story from the Eagles' 1960 NFL championship to the 1964 Phillies collapse to the Ali-Frazier fights to the Flyers' Stanley Cup parades. A dumpster fire forced students at the University of Pennsylvania from their homes overnight. The fire sent smoke into the student high rise complex on the 3900 block of Walnut Street around 3:30 a.m. The fire was placed under control within a half an hour. Students have been allowed back inside their homes and no injuries were reported.
