iRadioPhilly presented the third annual Haverford Music Festival in Havertown on a beautifully sunny day, Saturday September 7, 2013 in the heart of Havertown. The crowd estimated at 18,000 enjoyed live music from 40 bands on 4 stages. During the event, concert-goers showed their support of the Haverford Music Festival with a donation to the iRadioPhilly Wristband Raffle. On October 31st, November 1st and 2nd at 7:30 PM the popular jam band, PHISH will be performing at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ. The fall tour will be taking the band all around the East Coast. They will be performing in Rochester, NY, Glens Falls, NY, Worcester, MA, Hartford, CT and Reading, PA. The band will be wrapping up their fall tour in Atlantic City on Halloween night.

The 3rd Annual Haverford Music Festival once again will come to life in Havertown this Saturday, September 7th. The festival is FREE and open to everyone. There will be 4 stages spread throughout the area around the intersection of Darby and Eagle Roads (which will be open to traffic) featuring more that 40 different musical acts. A NASA moon mission gets underway with a rocket launch tonight that should be viewable from the Philadelphia area, New Jersey, and Delaware. In fact much of the East Coast will get to see it blast off from the coast of Virginia. NASA says the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer, a robotic mission known as LADEE, is set to take off from Wallops Island, Va., at 11:27 p.m. tonight.

Father and Son Drown in Wissahickon; Babysitter Hero, Saves Girl from Crash; How Zoo Gorilla Died

The bodies of a father and son were pulled out of the Wissahickon Creek near the Valley Green Inn at Valley Green Road and Forbidden Drive this afternoon. At around 3 pm the 13-year-old son jumped into the creek. After which 41-year-old father had jump in to rescue him. Witnesses did not see them get out of the water and called police. This area, popular with swimmers, is know as Devil's Pool. Police are still investigating.

Police in Lower Merion and Radnor are working together on a couple of carjackings in their towns. Last week at the Beaumont Retirement Center in Bryn Mawr, a resident reported his car stolen at gunpoint. Then, Tuesday evening at the Villanova train station, a woman was forced out of her Porsche Cayenne while she waited for her husband.

Police are investigating two indecent exposure incidents reported on the same block in Wilmington on the 1400 block of St. Elizabeth Street. Officers responded Tuesday night to a 911 call for a suspicious person masturbating as he looked through a neighbor’s window. The suspect fled after the resident started banging on the window.

Philadelphia Eagles players Riley Cooper and Cary Williams got into a scuffle at practice of Thursday during one-on-one drills. (video below) It took several players, including Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson and Brandon Boykin, to break up the entangled two. Williams was over heard using a racial epitaph during the scuffle. Van Morison's 1970 breakthrough album 'Moondance' has been remastered and will be reissued by Warner Bros. Records on Oct. 1st in 3 versions. 'Moondance' has the distinction of being a triple platinum album, a Grammy Hall of Fame inductee and listed as number 65 in Rolling Stone's “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.”
