Tonight the NFL regular season kicks off in Denver Colorado. Outside the Bronco's stadium, a billboard has been put up by the reform group, The Marijuana Policy Project challenging the NFL to change its policy on pot. The message reads, "Stop driving players to drink" and promotes marijuana, now legal in Colorado, as a safer choice.

Investigators were at a Center City apartment looking for evidence connected to the discovery of a human torso found in the Schuylkill river Tuesday morning near the Grays Ferry Bridge. Police have identified the victim as a man who had been reported missing, 40-year-old Frank Zarzycki of Northeast Philadelphia. Investigators were able to identify the 40-year-old through tattoos on his torso.

Police in Wheeling, WV are looking for a third person who may have been involved in the fatal beating of a Wheeling Jesuit University student over the weekend. Two men have already been been charged with the murder of 21-year-old Kevin Figaniak of Perkasie, Bucks County, PA. 22-year-old Craig Peacock of Clewiston, Fla., and 24-year-old Jarrett Chandler of Winnfield, La. are being held on $1 million bond. Figaniak was a senior business major who played varsity lacrosse.

Convicted kidnapper and rapist, Ariel Castro is dead, an apparent suicide, after he was found hanging in his prison cell last night. The Cleveland man had been sentenced to life plus 1,000 years on August 1st for kidnapping three women 10 years ago and holding them as slaves until they were rescued this year.

KitKat is the name Google has chosen for Android 4.4, which will power phones and tablets this fall. The candy's packaging will show the Android robot breaking off a piece of that bar. Google says no money is changing hands in this deal.

The first wrongful death lawsuit in Center City building collapse has been filed. The family of 24-year-old Mary Lea Simpson of Haverford filed the suit Tuesday against the Salvation Army, the building's owner Richard Basciano, and the demolition contractors. Simpson was one of 6 killed when a brick wall from the adjacent building fell on the Salvation Army thrift store. She was with shopping with her childhood friend, Anne Bryan, who was also killed. On Saturday, Oct. 5th and Sunday, Oct. 6th, the 3rd Annual Atlantic City Boardwalk Rodeo will be featured at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ to bring the biggest rodeo on the East Coast. The 2 ½ hour rodeo from the Barnes PRCA Rodeo Company includes bullriders, cowboys, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, and barrel racing.

They've agreed to pay freezes and contributions to their health care, however they are now being asked to accept pay cuts of up to 13%. Two chemical reaction devices were thrown into a Rite Aide in the East Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia Monday night. The devices did burst, nobody was injured. There was no significant damage to the store either. Police say it's important to note this was not any type of bomb.
