Two Coatesville school administrators resigned three weeks ago over racially charged text messages and the District Attorney's office has launched a criminal investigation. Superintendent Richard Como resigned his $175,000 per year job. Athletic Director James Donato also stepped down. The Daily Local News reports it uncovered several pages of text messages on school issued phones that included racially charged conversations using the n-word 12 times in one conversation.

Philadelphia police say a man is in critical condition after being shot in the chest and right arm Sunday in North Philadelphia. It happened near the intersection of 5th and Huntington Streets. The 40-year-old victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition.

On Wed. September 25th, the Rap and Hip Hop star, J. Cole and Wale will be performing for his, "What Dreams May Come" Tour at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA at 7:30 p.m.

Cole will also be going to Europe by making his way to Copenhagen on November 10th, and he'll finish up in Dublin on December 1st.

Police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a Rite Aid store manager in Chester Thursday night. 24-year-old David Wiggins will be charged with first, second and third degree murder and related offenses in the death of 40-year-old Jason Scott McClay of Broomall. Police were able to lift his fingerprints from the scene and witnesses identified him. He was Wiggins and a female accomplice entered the store at 9th and Highland with the intent to rob the store. An ambulance was carjacked this afternoon on I-76 that was transporting a patient. It happened around 3:00pm near the Girard Ave exit of the Schuylkill Expressway. A man hijacked the ambulance while it was traveling westbound forcing the crew out with a gun. Police began to pursue the ambulance until it became disabled near City Line Ave where the suspect pulled over and began to run. He was then apprehended. The female patient was transported to Roxborough Hospital.

Police in Chester are looking for a couple in connection with the murder of a Rite Aid store manager there last night. Just before closing, security cameras captured images of a woman and a man entering the store (pictured). Moments later, patron heard a gunshot and fled the store. Police arrived to find the store manager dead of a single gunshot wound to the head. A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information.

PennDOT has announced that daytime lane restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for a series of bridge inspections. The work schedule is today and next week, Monday through Thursday. The right lane will be closed on northbound I-95 between Island Avenue and Broad Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also on Friday, September 27, the right lane will be closed on southbound I-95 between Allegheny Avenue and Girard Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
