The non-waiver trade deadline for Major League baseball came and and went this afternoon at 4pm. The Philadelphia Phillies and General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr did not make any moves. Despite weeks of talk leading up to deadline about what the team should, could, might do there was nothing in the end. Tour de Shore Bike Theft, Syringes on Jersey Beach, Verizon Damaged Lines

Fifteen bicycles were stolen from participants in the annual Tour de Shore bike race. The bikes, worth $22,000 were stored inside the Irish Pub in Rittenhouse. Police say someone broke into the bar at about 4:30 am Sunday and made off with them in a truck.

36 syringes have washed up on the beach at Island Beach State Park in Ocean County. The syringes started showing up on Friday and are the type used by diabetics. Environmental Protection is speculating that wind and weather... Read More

The judge in Pennsylvania's voter-identification law trial cleared the courtroom Tuesday so lawyers could spar in private over how many voters may have been unable to obtain an acceptable photo ID before last year's election. Lawyers planned to make closing arguments before Commonwealth Court Judge Bernard McGinley on Wednesday, the 11th day of the trial on the constitutionality of the yet-to-be-enforced law. Haverford College has brought in a herd of goats to clear some overgrown areas of the campus. 29 goats from Eco-Goats in Maryland started munching away at the weeds, vines and poison ivy on a 1.5 acre tract across from the duck pond on College Lane. The goats will eat up about a quarter acre a day.

One person was hospitalized after a stabbing in Gloucester County Monday night. The incident happened along the 400 block of N. Main Street in Williamstown. One person was taken to Kennedy Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

William Scranton, the Pennsylvania governor from 1963 to 1967, has died at a retirement home in Montecito, California. A family spokesman says Governor Scranton died of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 96. Scranton signed into law changes... Read More

Reward $20000 Gloucester Woman; South Philly Home Explosion; McNabb and No. 5 are Retired Eagles

After over a month, the reward has been raised for information on the death of a Gloucester Township woman. The reward now stands at $20,000 to help authorities figure out how 59-year-old Carol Reiff died. Reiff's body was found in a wooded area near her home in the Lakeview Apartments four days after she was reported missing. Investigators have not determined a cause of death but are treating the case as a homocide. Reiff's employer, Admiral Insurance Company, added $9000 to the fund.... Read More
