Congressional leaders have signaled that they have reached agreement on a new COVID-19 relief bill on Sunday evening, 12/20. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tweeted, "Congress has just reached an agreement. We will pass another rescue package ASAP. More help is on the way." Wawa opened its first ever drive-thru on Friday morning, 12/19. A drive-thru window was added to the exiting store at 570 Rancocas Road in Westampton, Burlington County. You can still get gas and head in to the store to make purchases. The drive-thru will offer a limited menu of Wawa's most popular items. New Jersey lawmakers passed legislation on Thursday, 12/17, setting up a recreational marijuana marketplace. The Assembly and Senate both passed the bill during remote sessions. Gov. Phil Murphy is expected to sign the measure into law. New Jersey voters approved a constitutional amendment in November allowing for recreational marijuana for adults 21 and older. A Winter Weather Watch is in effect from Wednesday morning through Thursday morning. Our area will experience a major winter storm during this period with heavy snow and gusty winds. It will start midday on Wednesday 12/16. Areas north of I-95 could see over 12"+ of snow. Areas south will see 6" or less.
