Grammy winners announced this week. Lots of glitz, costumes, stage performances from artists like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Lady Antebellum... each nominated for album of the year along with no-frills alternative band, Arcade Fire. And the grammy for album of the year went to Arcade Fire. Today show host Matt Lauer said until the grammy show, he never heard of Arcade Fire. Archdiocese of Philadelphia has many of you talking about the latest allegations of child abuse by its priests. Some feel those in charge here in Philly are guilty of sweeping these incidents under the carpet by continuing to move priests from parish to parish knowing more children could be at risk of abuse. As these details hit the papers, and TV, is it becoming a witch hunt, or is the problem finally being addressed as it should have been years ago? ... Read More

Tonight's big winners are country crossover stars Lady Antebellum, powered by their song "Need You Now". They took home 5 little record player statues, including both Song and Record of the Year. Somehow they got to perform that song 2 years in a row on the show. Arguably, last year's performance launched them on the road to success this past year.

Other big winners include Philly's own The Roots, whose collaborative work with John Legend earned 3 awards in R&B categories. The... Read More

Lady Gaga's NEW Single "Born This Way"

Here's the new single from Lady Gaga called "Born This Way." Would you say it's a great track about individual empowerment, maybe even an homage to Madonna. Or did Gaga just throw her mentor's "Express Yourself" with a dash of "Vogue" into a blender and try to serve it up to us as today's special?

What do you think?

Phillies Ball Girl Uniform Design Contest

  by: iradiotom - Philadelphia, PA
started: 02/10/11 3:14 pm | updated: 02/10/11 3:48 pm

The Phillies have teamed up with Macy's to sponsor a contest to design new uniforms for the Phillies Ball Girls. Phillies Facebook fans have some suggestions. Among men, the #1 suggestion is to bring back the hot pants and go-go boots look from the 80's. Some like the Daisy Dukes cutoff and bikini top look while others are hoping it stays tasteful. Remember, the Phillies Ball Girls are actually athletes - softball players - not... Read More
