The pilot of a small prop plane was killed after it crashed into a wooded area in a residential neighborhood in Doylestown on Tuesday morning, 6/15. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 3800 block of Country Club Drive in Buckingham Township a short distance from the Doylestown airport. 79-year-old Martin Sailer Jr. of Upper Black Eddy was the only person aboard the single-engine Vans RV-6A when it went down. Philadelphia Police have released surveillance images of two men wanted in a double shooting at Federal Donuts in Northern Liberties last week. It happened just after 1 p.m. on Thursday, 6/10, at the donut shop on the 700 block of North 7th Street. Two gunmen were chasing after a 27-year-old man when he ran into the restaurant. A man was shot and killed on Saturday night, 6/12, in the middle of a large gathering of dirt bikes in Port Richmond. It happened around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and East Butler Street in Port Richmond. A 21-year-old man riding on a dirt bike was shot in the head by another man riding on a motorcycle. A second man then stole the shooting victim's dirt bike. The suspects fled the scene. A volunteer high school lacrosse coach is being charged after striking a member of the opposing team during a game last month. 50-year-old Garth Little is charged with harassment. He was a coach for Methacton High School men's lacrosse. It happened on May 14 in a game against North Penn and was caught on video. Authorities say they have found the body of the homeowner at the center of yesterday's SWAT situation and explosive fire in Montgomery County. The body of 66-year-old Thomas Razzi was discovered inside the rubble of his burned out home in the Eagleville section of Lower Providence Township. Philadelphia officials announced on Wednesday, 6/9, that the city is ready to drop the final two 'Safer-at-Home' coronavirus COVID-19 restrictions. As of 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 11, the city will lift the indoor mask mandate and remove the 11 p.m. last call for restaurants. Philadelphia Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a woman in Kensington early Sunday morning, 6/6. It happened around 4 a.m. on the 2700 block of Kensington Ave. 35-year-old Lauren Panas was hit by a white SUV traveling southbound. The vehicle was captured on surveillance in the area.
