A 5-year-old is in critical condition after he was hit by a car in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. The incident happened at around 4:20 pm on Tuesday on the 7200 block of Revere Street. The child was sent to the hospital in critical condition. Police are continuing an investigation into the incident.

Two men who are reportedly responsible for a string of burglaries around the Philadelphia area were arraigned in Montgomery County District Court on Monday.... Read More

SEPTA Train Hits Pedestrian; Four Injured In Roosevelt Blvd. Crash; Bomb Set Off Outside DE Home

SEPTA's Airport Line was temporarily shut down on Monday after a train in Southwest Philadelphia struck a pedestrian. The incident happened at around 10 am on Monday near 58th Street and Woodland Avenue. Officials say that the pedestrian survived the incident, but was rushed to the hospital. SEPTA had to shut down the Airport Line in both directions as police investigated the incident.

Philadelphia Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man in the Somerdale section of Phladelphia. The 22-year-old man was found by a family member, lying near a shed in the backyard of a home on the 500 block of Byberry Road. Officials say that the victim had severe head injures, he was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are continuing an investigation.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a double shooting that took place in the Logan section of Philadelphia on Thursday night. The shooting took place just before 8 pm on the 2000 block of West Champlost Avenue. The 30-year-old victim was shot once in the face and once in the chest, he was pronounced dead on the scene. Philadelphia Police are warning drivers to keep a close eye on their car as car thefts are on the rise in the city. Police say that many suspects are stealing the cars as the car is warming up and the keys are left in the ignition. Around 33% of the car thefts have been due to the keys being left in the ignition. The City of Philadelphia has declared a Snow Emergency starting at 8 am on Wednesday due to the incoming nor'easter. Philadelphia residents will have to move all cars off of designated snow emergency routes so they can be properly plowed. Officials say that city government offices as well as courts will be closed for the day. The National Weather Service has already issued a Winter Storm Warning starting tonight Tuesday at 7 pm and lasting through 3 am on Thursday. The storm will begin as light rain or snow this evening before changing to all snow later tonight. Philadelphia Police are searching for three suspects after they shot and injured a teen and another woman on Monday. Police say that a 27-year-old woman invited the three suspects into a house on the 2900 block North 5th Street at around 3:15 a.m. on Monday. The victims ,as well as the suspects, began talking and they all began to brag about money, which led to one of the suspects opening fire. Delaware County is still feeling the effects of Friday's nor'easter with downed power lines and trees leaving 1000s still without power on Monday. About 48,000 PECO customers and 5,600 PPL customers were still in the dark on Monday afternoon. At its peak over 600,000 customers were without power across the region. Bill Cosby is set to appear in court on Monday for a pretrial hearing for issues connected to his retrial of sexual assault charges in Montgomery County. Cosby's previous trial ended in a deadlocked jury. Prosecutors say that they brought 13 accusers to testify against Cosby, but the judge only allowed 1 to testify.
