A man decided he wanted to take a picture of his white Land Rover SUV with the lapping waves of the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop on Island Beach State Park in Ocean County on Tuesday. He pulled up a little too close to the water line as his wheels quickly became stuck in the wet sand and the surf began to suck the vehicle in. 14 students and a bus driver were taken to the hospital after their school bus overturned in Lancaster County on Wednesday morning. It happened around 8 a.m. on Route 30 at Route 896 in East Lampeter Township. The students were between 13 and 16 years old from Lancaster Mennonite School. A plane made an emergency landing Tuesday night in Ocean County, New Jersey. The incident took place at around 9 pm on Tuesday. The plane had to make an emergency landing on the 100 block of Laurel Hill Lane in Eagleswood Township. Officials say that the Eagles Nest Airport is not to far from where the plane crashed. Philadelphia Police are now searching for a man who is wanted in connection for arson in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia. Police are reviewing surveillance footage that shows the man they think started the fire. The man is seen walking by the construction site where the fire broke out, at 20th and Wharton Streets earlier this month. Two people were killed after a private jet from Philadelphia crashed near an airport in North Jersey. The Learjet 35 took off from Philadelphia International Airport at 3:04 p.m. Monday. The FAA reports that the plane crashed on approach to Teterboro Airport in Bergen County, NJ at 3:30 p.m. about a half mile from the airport. Students traveling from a Philadelphia school to Washington DC on a field trip were injured when their charter bus overturned on I-95 in Maryland this morning. 26 eighth-grade students, two staff members, one parent chaperone and the driver were on board when the bus flipped over in the Havre de Grace area around 9:25 a.m. The students were from the Charles W. A Lehigh Valley man was arrested on Saturday at the Newark International Airport after TSA agents found a loaded handgun in his carry-on bag.
