A judge has throw out 4 of the 22 counts in ex-congressman Chaka Fattah's case of corruption. Fattah has been cleared of 4 bank and mail fraud counts in his case after post trial defense motions. The most serious conviction on racketeering remains. Fattah was convicted back in June for being involved in creating several fraud plans to raise money for his campaign, as well as for his personal use. The search for a missing Bucks County woman resumed this morning after she has been missing for over 6 weeks. 21-year-old Lindsey Piccone was last seen in Bensalem on September 6th. Her abandoned car was found at Tyler State Park. She did not have her cell phone or her two dogs with her. Searches of the park were made in the days following her disappearance. The annual October Orionid Meteor Shower is set to peak tonight across the Philadelphia region's skies on the night of the 20th-21st. Tonight's forecast is for partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures making ok weather to catch the meteors streaking across the sky. The waning gibbous moon will be rising and very bright just before midnight and staying in the sky as the night wears on. Police are now investigating a deadly shooting that happened in the Mantua section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened at around 6:30 pm on the 3500 block of Wallace Street. Police say that someone opened fire on a teen, shooting him in the shoulder. The unidentified victim was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. So far no arrests have been made.

Two people were injured in a small plane crash that happened Wednesday afternoon in Lindenwold, Camden County. Two men who were flying a plane from Medford crashed on the 500 Block of East Linden Avenue at 12:47 pm. Authorities say that the plane split in half upon contact, causing the cockpit to flip upside down where the two men were stuck for about 20 minutes. Faculty at 14 Pennsylvania state universities went on strike at 5 a.m. this morning after late night contract negotiations failed to reach a deal with the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. More than 100,000 students are affected by the strike. Police responded to a call Tuesday night of an armed man who barricaded himself inside his house in South Philadelphia. Police arrived on the scene at 6:15 pm on the 200 block of Morris Street. The man was reportedly suffering from mental issues and was inside his house with two hunting rifles. Police sent out a tweet to the area telling the public to avoid from the street. The man eventually surrendered to Police and no injuries were reported in the ordeal.

Police have ID'd and charged the man responsible for ruining the Malandra Hall Community Center youth football field in Camden, New Jersey. The suspect is 20-year-old Gloucester County resident Alexander Peters. Police say that Peters also confessed to spray painting a swastika on the property as well. A man was shot and killed Monday night in Kensington on his 30th birthday. Police responded to several 911 calls to the area of Allegheny Avenue and F Street around 11:30 p.m. They found a man lying in the middle of street, unresponsive, with gunshot wounds to the head and upper back.
