Two PGW workers were injured after a gas explosion sparked a fire in South Philadelphia on the 1800 block of South Bancroft Street. Their injuries are not considered life threatening. The American Red Cross says at least three families are displaced.

| Philadelphia Police have identified three suspects wanted for numerous pick pocket incidents in Center City. They are Timothy Mosley, James Black, Renza Sheaff also known as Tina Hainey. The trio first hit back in May 2013 when they stole a wallet from a female's hand bag and made more than $2,000 in purchases on her card. A cruise ship returned to New Jersey after a shortened trip to the Caribbean thanks to a sickness that struck 700 passengers and crew. The Explorer of the Seas had over 3,000 on board when passengers started getting sick. | A man from Collingdale, Delaware County, is under arrest and charged with embezzling nearly $3 million from his employer. 45-year-old James Bryan of the 800 block of Spruce Street worked for Wescott Electric, in Aston, PA, for 26 years and was also a member of the Collingdale Borough Council for 20 years. The final round of hearings for Philadelphia's second casino license began Tuesday. Gaming Control Board Spokesman Doug Harbach says it is conceivable the board would elect not to license a second casino in Philadelphia. He also says it could deadlock, since the license is awarded not by a simple majority of the seven-member board: the law requires all four legislative appointees, plus one of the governor's appointees, to agree on who gets the license.

Hamlet Garcia had been charged with felony theft of services but plead guilty to a summery offense of the school code as part of a deal. Pete Seeger has died. The 94 year old singer, songwriter, and community activist passed peacefully in his sleep after a six day stay in the hospital.
