After the Eagles loss to the Cowboys last night, the Eagles announced they were firing defensive line coach, Jim Washburn. His replacement is a familiar face to the Eagles, Tommy Brasher. Brasher coached the Eagles defensive line in 1985 and from 1999 to 2005.

More than 100 Paulsboro residents will be kept out of their homes for several more days as crews work to clear a hazardous gas that spewed from a ruptured freight train car. The tanker that ruptured Friday contained 25,000 gallons of vinyl chloride, some of which spewed into the air. The remaining gas in the tanker had turned into a solid and settled at the bottom of the tanker. About 100 residents living within a 12 block radius of the train derailment in Paulsboro will not be allowed back to their homes until at least Saturday, December 8th. They are staying at area hotels or with family and friends. The ruptured tanker containing the hazardous vinyl chloride is still sitting in the water, officials started to remove the now solidified chemicals on Sunday night. A mother and her boyfriend have been charged with the murder of a 5 year old boy in North Philadelphia. Authorities say that 23-year-old Lashay Patterson, and her boyfriend, 25-year-old Christian Patrick beat and burned the boy that led to his death early Saturday morning. A freight train derailment on a bridge over the Mantua Creek in Paulsboro, NJ at around 7 a.m. Friday morning has caused a chemical leak that sent dozens to area hospitals. The Conrail train had 2 locomotives and 84 cars. Seven cars derailed, 2 on land, 5 on the bridge with 4 ending up in the water. The National Transportation Safety Board is on hand trying to determine what caused a freight train carrying hazardous material to derail over a bridge in Paulsboro, New Jersey this morning. A train derailed this morning around 7 a.m. spilling chemicals in Paulsboro, New Jersey. Part of a bridge collapsed over the Mantua Creek and several cars are in the water below. Hazmat crews are on the scene at the Marine Terminal, the site of the accident. The U.S. Coast Guard has also been called in because chemicals appear to be leaking into the Delaware River. The search is on for the attacker who savagely beat two elderly men, 76 and 80 years old, with a wrench and a tape dispenser. It happened at around 2pm Thursday in the 5900 block of North 4th Street in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood.
