| Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video in connection with a hit-and-run accident in Holmesburg last week that killed a women. On December 23rd, 33-year-old Theresa Pozzi was attempting to cross the street on the 8100 block of State Road when she was struck by an older model maybe Ford pickup truck. | Authorities in Bensalem have announced charges against an 18-year-old driver in connection with the death of a 16-year-old high school student who was struck while getting on her school bus last month. It happened on December 17th, 2014 at 6:40 a.m. as Minete Zeka, a sophomore at Bensalem High, was crossing the street to get on her school bus on Bensalem Boulevard near Bridgewater Road. | The 115th annual Mummers Parade kept the New Year's Day tradition alive in Philadelphia. In an event that is unique to Philadelphia, string bands, comics and other costumed, feathered performers danced all day to ring in the new year. Some traditionalists were unhappy with the change in the parade route. This year, the Mummers parade started at City Hall and moved south instead of ending at City Hall after moving north. It happened at 10:51 a.m. on the second level of a garage at 17th and Callowhill Streets near the campus of the Community College of Philadelphia.
