Prosecutors in Somerset County, NJ, have issued their final report surrounding the mysterious deaths of a high-profile hospital CEO and his wife last fall. They have ruled that 72-year-old John Sheridan Jr. stabbed his wife of 47 years, 69-year-old Joyce Sheridan, before setting their bedroom on fire and committing suicide. The co-pilot of the Germanwings aircraft that crashed into the French Alps Tuesday may have hid an illness from the airline according to German prosecutors. A search of the the Duesseldorf home of Andreas Lubitz, yielded no suicide note, and there is no evidence that political or religious factors were involved in the crash. Officials say medical documents at Lubitz's home indicated "an existing illness and appropriate medical treatment."

A SEPTA bus driver found a four-year-old girl outside in the rain overnight by herself next to a bus stop at Torresdale Avenue and Magee Street. The driver let the girl on the bus until police arrived. It remains unclear how long she was outside before she was discovered. A two hour effort then followed to find the girl’s family and home. Upper Darby police are asking for the public's help in finding a 25-year-old Drexel Hill woman that has been missing since last June. Amanda De Guio has not been seen since June 7th, 2014 when she left her home. Since then the family has not had any contact with her, no phone calls, and there hasn't been any activity on her credit cards. One of the pilots was locked out of the cockpit. The black box was recovered from the Germanwings Flight 9525 that crashed into the Alps killing all 150 people on board. After a smooth takeoff, audio recordings capture one of the pilots leaving the cockpit, and then banging on the door with increasing urgency until the plane crashed. On the recordings, the pilot in the cockpit can be heard breathing until impact but did not respond to calls from his copilot or the control tower.

Police say they are investigating a home invasion that occurred early Thursday morning in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia. This happened just before 4 a.m. on the 1700 block of Chadwick Street. Police say when they arrived, the elderly woman who lives in the house says a black man broke in and assaulted her. Yesterday's crash of Germanwings Flight 9525 in a remote area of the southern French Alps killed 150 passengers and crew. Two of the passengers have been identified as Americans Emily Selke and her mother Yvonne Selke. A third American has not been identified. Emily was a recent graduate of Drexel University and a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma sorority. She was a music industry major and graduated in 2013. They lived in Nokesville, Virginia.
