LaSalle's success in the NCAA Men's basketball tournament is making a Philadelphia playground shot famous. The Southwest Philly Floater from Tyrone Garland (pictured) went down and won the game for the Explorers who advanced to the Sweet 16. Atlantic City's Revel casino filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Camden yesterday. Revel said it was worth no more than $450 million, and it could take four years to become fully profitable. It plans to continue normal operations, paying employees and vendors, and predicts guests will not notice anything different. The young couple who stole 2 police cars after a drug binge submitted statements to the prosecution at a preliminary hearing today. Blake Bills and Shayna Sykes said they stole a Camden cruiser and a Philadelphia police car admitting it was a "drug induced, stupid decision" and that they wanted to "go out with a bang." The couple faces multiple charges.

This weekend’s Powerball jackpot, worth $338 million was won on a ticket purchased in South Jersey, reportedly at the Love’s Travel Stop and County Store in Bordentown Township in Burlington County. Police in Gloucester County, New Jersey have the life of a nine-year-old autistic child they saved. Officers found the boy Saturday afternoon stuck in mud and water in the Mantua Creek..
Police say the boy was 200 yards from shore in the middle of the creek and up to his neck in mud.
A total of six officers got him to shore.
