Trenton Mayor Tony Mack and his brother Ralphiel have been found guilty in federal court in a plot to accept payments in exchange for approvals to develop a downtown parking garage. Tony Mack was convicted of official extortion conspiracy, attempted extortion, accepting bribes, mail fraud and wire fraud. Former NFL defensive lineman Hugh Douglas will plead no contest in a misdemeanor assault case in Connecticut. He is accused of assaulting his girlfriend at a Hotel in Hartford. Douglas' lawyer Corey Brinson says he expects his client to to plead no contest to a breach of peace charge in court on Monday in order to avoid a jail sentence. NJ Man Claims Indian Reservation, Amber Alert, Philadelpha Area Disaster Zone

A man claiming to be the heir to the Powhatan Indian Empire claims that land that was once South Jersey's only Native-American reservation is his. Crown Prince Emperor El Bey Bigbay a/k/a William McRea from Trenton says he is the rightful owner of the deserted reservation. The Crown Prince claims U.S. laws don’t apply to him. Reports say he has been charged with using fake diplomatic tags, driving without a license and failure to pay child support.

If you're home is without power it depends on which power line is damaged that counts. Meaning if the power to your home is out because there's damage to a major transmission line that services thousands, that is actually a good thing according to PECO. Your home by default will be a priority. That’s why the more than 700,000 PECO customers who first lost power was quickly reduced to about 350,000 customers without power in the first 24 hours. Villanova University announced that electricity and heat have been restored to Main Campus, West Campus, and the Athletics Complex. Classes will resume on Monday, February 10th. Friday night's Men's Basketball game against Seton Hall will be played as scheduled. Yesterday, school officials were left to cancel classes for the rest of the week as a result of campus-wide outages and no timeframe for repairs. Hundreds of thousands of people in the Philadelphia region are still without power. PECO is reporting more than 425,000 customers are still in the dark. Most of the outages are in Chester, Bucks and Montgomery Counties. PPL, PSE&G and Delmarva are also reporting thousands of customers are still without power.

Governor Tom Corbett has signed a disaster emergency proclamation Wednesday after a winter storm left hundreds of thousands without power in Pennsylvania. At a press briefing, Gov. Corbett said 849,000 customers lost power in the state. The Governor says the disaster emergency proclamation is to assist state and local authorities in responding to the winter storm. Gov. Last night's ice storm lead to widespread power outages, downed trees, traffic lights out, and closed roads today. A record number of people lost power across the area, upwards of 700,000. PECO officials warn that it may take a few days to get everyone's service back online. PECO has requested the help of 500 additional line crews from outside the region to assist with the work. The state senate has okayed the governor’s two nominations to the School Reform Commission. The state senate approved the nominations of City Councilman Bill Green to be SRC chair, and Farah Jimenez to be an SRC member. There was no senate hearing on the nominations, and Democratic Philadelphia senator Vincent Hughes objected to the lack of debate. 13 SRC nominations have come before the senate, and only four have had hearings.
