| Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Joe Sullivan announced on Friday, 1/31, that he was leaving the force effective immediately. Sullivan had been a member of the Philadelphia force for 38 years. He has said that his departure was "not my decision" and that he was told that his services "were no longer needed." | The teenage boy wanted in the shooting death of a grandfather in Chester has been taken into custody after surrendering to police on Friday afternoon, 1/31. 14-year-old Zhafir Tinsley-Jones is charged with the murder of 79-year-old Robert Womack.
