However, today they've announced their own fairly ambitious travelling summer festival. It'll happen 4 times in four different places, yet to be determined. DMB will headline each night with various other acts throughout the days. Here's what they're saying so far:

The Phillies have agreed to a contract with Luis Castillo, the former Florida Marlins' three-time Gold Glove and three-time All-Star second baseman who was released by the New York Mets on Friday.

The NCAA Men's basketball tournament is underway and you don't need to be a basketball fan to get swept up in this action. Part of the magnetism is that these athletes are young amateurs, not millionaires and most know they will never turn pro. They play for the love of game and the spirit of competition. Win or go home. Watching, you can't help feel the rush of exhuberance when they win, and their disappointment when they're... Read More

GQ Magazine has released it's list of Worst Sports Fans in America and GQ put Eagles and Phillies fans in the 1 and 2 spots. They cite examples such as cheering opponent injuries, booing Santa Claus, and cheering a fan being tased by the cops. So what. We show up. And we cheer - lustily. Other sports towns would love to have Philly's passion. Ask the players. Ask Cliff Lee why he took less money to play in Philly. The... Read More

Is T Milton Street eligible to run for mayor of Philadelphia? Mayor Nutter doesn't think so, and today began a hearing claiming that Street is ineligible to run for mayor because he has not been a resident of the city for the past three years as required by the city charter. Would having Street on the ballot be too much competition for Nutter? ... Read More
