The former baseball coach at a Catholic high school in Philadelphia has pleaded guilty to charges of assaulting one youth and drugging another at a hotel. Thirty eight year old Louis Spadaccini pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, endangering the welfare of children, indecent assault and corruption of minors. After 3 weeks of utilizing replacement referees to less than savory results, the NFL and the Referee union has agreed upon a deal that will end the lockout. For the immediate future a crew is being assembled to work at the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens game on Thursday night football. Dog Struck and Killed After Thrown From Car; Wrong Way Killer Appears in Court

A chocolate lab named "Mugsy" was struck and killed late Saturday night on West Chester Pike in East Goshen Township, Chester County. The dog's owner, Pam Ardell, says that he had escaped from a yard of a nearby home they were visiting. Someone must have picked him up and brought him in to their car. Singer Andy Williams passed away Tuesday night after a year long battle with cancer. He was the star of his own hit TV variety show "The Andy Williams Show" during the sixties and still topped the charts during the 60's even when rock was taking over from vocalists. He's best known for his rendition of the Johnny Mercer-Henry Mancini ballad "Moon River" which became his signature song. DUI Checkpoints in Radnor, Wells Fargo Declared Safe, Rock the Vote

Delaware County's DUI Task Force will be setting up sobriety checkpoints in Radnor this weekend searching for impaired drivers. The Task Force has been productive since 2009 arresting 71 drivers at 33 checkpoints for driving under the influence and issued 26 citations for underage drinking.

Three people pleaded guilty in a human trafficking, assault and torture case in Philadelphia. Michael and Tamara Rhoades lured victims to their North Philadelphia home, and then, along with Steven Mills, took part in sadistic abuse of young women. Victims were lured to the home for a sexual relationship, and then the defendants started stealing the women’s money, work, social security and college aid checks all while threatening and beating the women to prevent them from leaving.Read More

The Pennsylvania Department of State and PennDOT have both declared that they have met the standards of the Voter ID law providing “liberal access” to obtaining one. They claim to have streamlined the process of procuring proper identification. You need to go to a PennDOT center and give your name, date of birth, Social Security number and address. A former Radnor Boy Scout leader has been arrested on child pornography charges and Radnor Police want to know if there are any possible victims out there. Forty seven year old Garrett Conover, now living in Swedesboro New Jersey was an active scout master of Radnor Troop 284 from 1991 to 2001. The Conover case is related to a larger one involving 150 child victims and 45 arrests so far.

Last week, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered the lower court to reconsider its decision not to block the voter ID law. The Commonwealth Court is set to hold an evidentiary hearing Tuesday morning in Harrisburg. Judge Robert Simpson is expected to hear testimony from state witnesses on the implementation of the voter ID law, as well as plaintiff witnesses on their experiences getting an ID from PennDOT.
