100 people were forced from their apartments last night because of a fire. About 10:30 Monday night, fire crews were dispatched to the complex on the 100 block of Folcroft Avenue. Due to high levels of carbon monoxide, residents could not return to their units. The Red Cross opened a shelter for people who had nowhere else to go.

Bill Campbell, long known as "the Dean" of Philadelphia sportscasters, passed away Monday at the age of 91. His career spanned eight decades. Most recently, he had been a contributor to KYW Newsradio and CBSPhilly.com. Philadephia Police currently have a person-of-interest in custody in connection with a sexual assault and robbery of a woman in Chinatown on Sunday morning. It happened at 8 a.m. inside an art gallery in the 100 block of N. 9th Street. The 45-year-old victim had just entered her studio when the suspect came in through the front and forced her into the office. A four year old boy in Mercer County New Jersey has died from Enterovirus D-68. Little Eli Waller died September 25th from what has been confirmed as New Jersey’s first death directly linked to Enterovirus D-68. Another child in Yardville Elementary School in Hamilton Township has also been tested and at a meeting at the school last night, parents were told that communication would be stepped up on the issue.

Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in West Philadelphia Sunday at 60th Street and Girard Avenue. A 35-year-old man was shot once in the chest. The identity of the victim was not immediately released. Police say they have no motive or suspects.
One person is dead after an accident involving a car and a tanker in Gloucester County, New Jersey.

Pumpkins can breath easier this year, though not to delight of thousands of participants at the annual World Championship Punkin Chunkin. This year's 28th Annual event scheduled to be held in Kent County, DE, Oct. 24-26 is being postponed until next year on Nov. 6-8, 2015. The Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk (pictured) opened yesterday. The $18 million floating concrete walkway is 15 feet wide and runs between Locust and South Streets. The walkway on the water is actually supported by pillars drilled into the river bed. The new walkway is sure to be a favorite new jogging path adding 8 miles to trails between the Delaware River and the Fairmount Dam.

A "Real Housewives of New Jersey" couple is now headed to federal prison after their sentencing hearing in Newark on Thursday. Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months behind bars. Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice, her husband, will serve 41 months in prison. They will also have to pay $414,000 in restitution. The new head of the President Obama's Secret Service is Havertown native and Villanova graduate, Joe Clancy. Clancy had been a member of Obama’s security team until he retired in 2011 and moved to lead security at Comcast.
