Early this morning two luxury cars and other high end merchandise was stolen right out from underneath the victims nose at his apartment on the 5400 block of Wissahickon Avenue in East Falls. The two cars, valued at over $200,000, were recovered this morning seemingly abandoned separately in nearby in Mount Airy and Germantown. Heavy rains make for treacherous travel conditions and flash flooding was reported around the region this morning. The Admiral Wilson Boulevard, Spring Garden Street and others were all under significant water this morning. PECO reported 36,000 were without power when they woke up. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through tonight.

One week after a mother and three children died while crossing Roosevelt Boulevard on foot, city officials say they're going to study whether a pedestrian-only crossing signal should be installed at that location. Samara Banks and three children were struck and killed by what police say were drag racers on the Boulevard near Second Street in Feltonville. It seemed as if the world was waiting this morning after news broke that Kate Middleton had gone into labor at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's hospital in London. It didn't take too long before the formal announcement was made that a baby boy had been born to the royal couple. William and Kate's son is now third in line for the crown of England. It may take a number of days before his name is announced.

Cheerleaders and Club Risque recently got hit with tax bills for over $400k in back taxes. The clubs contend that the amusement tax is paid by customers when they enter in the cover charge.

Philadelphia police are investigating a possible case of neglect and malnourishment of an infant. A malnourished 1-year-old and a 3-year-old were removed from a home located in the 1500 block of York Street. The children were taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for evaluation Sunday. Authorities say the parents are being questioned by SVU.

Fire crews in Bucks County battled a fire at a popular restaurant early this morning. The blaze started at around 6:30 at Nifty Fifty’s on Street Road in Bensalem. The eatery was open at the time but everyone was able to get out before the building became engulfed. Despite the early hours, the region's heat wave was a factor on the firefighters. Delaware County Police are looking for a gunman who opened fire on a group of children last night. Three were wounded including an 11 year old girl and 10 year old boy. The incident happened last night at about 11:30 on Beverly Avenue in East Lansdowne. Witnesses say a man was hiding in nearby bushes and fired 8 or 9 shots at the group of kids crossing the street. No suspect or motive is known at this time.
