Pennsylvania Department of Health Acting Secretary Alison Beam will resign her position and leave the Wolf administration at the end of December. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court threw out the statewide mask mandate for schools K-12 and childcare facilities on Friday, 12/10. The mandate had been put in place by acting state health secretary Alison Beam in September. A Bensalem High School teaching assistant and coach has been arrested for sending explicit messages and making inappropriate comments to several young girls at the school. 27-year-old Donnie Reed of Philadelphia is charged with unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children, corruption of a minor and other related offenses.
