Padge Victoria Windslowe, aka "Black Madam", who is accused of killing a 20-year-old British tourist with illegal silicone butt injections last year, was held over for trial on all charges this morning including third-degree murder and the unauthorized practice of medicine and surgery. More than a million dollars in heroin was recovered from a row home in Northeast Philadelphia. Agents raided the house on McKinley Street and found the drugs, and materials used to prepare it for street sale, including a quantity of horse tranquilizers used to stretch the street mix. The suspected leader of the ring is in custody.

Nearly four months after his child sex abuse conviction in a case that rocked Penn State, former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was sentenced to no less than 30 years and no more than 60 years in prison Tuesday. He was given credit for 112 days of time served and must pay the cost of prosecution and $1,706 in restitution. Samantha Pawlucy returned to school this morning among a large throng of supporters. The high school sophomore was ridiculed by a teacher 2 weeks ago for wearing a Mitt Romney for President t-shirt to school. Veterans groups and other supporters say she had her first amendment rights trampled. The Philadelphia School District calls the incident "Disruptive and hurtful."
